Sometimes it takes awhile to catch up with my photo processing. just plain forgot these were still in the camera LOL!

At our October Sport launch we had very light winds and I took advantage to 1st and 2nd flight some of those Micro PMC's waiting in my Range box.
The good news is all three F20 Tiger Shark was way to quick off the pad to catch, F1c Mirage & F35b Lighting All flew quite well. even had the good luck to catch a few of the Liftoffs. The F35 went so well I flew it twice:)

Thanks Guy's: Have to give a big thanks to David Fuller for taking a couple of those Photos. These little 1/144th PMC's have been a lot of fun building, now I know they are also really fun Sport flying models, most I wouldn't be afraid to enter in NAR competitions either: One actually did take 4th Place at Naram-46 a few years back (1/130th X-15).

Concerning Recovery Negative on tumble Recovery. Just about all my Micro's and Particularly the heavier Micro PMC's all have some sort of recovery. Most are Teflon Streamer or small 3" to 5" 1.4mil Mylar chutes. all three of the PMC's above have 1/2" x 9" yellow military grade Teflon streamers. F-20 and F35B are both rear ejection/Drag out streamer models while the F1c seperates just forward of the air intakes. A couple other options are intake ejection F14 Tomcat (can be slightly less reliable then Nose or rear ejection) and crew compartment (Nose ejection) F15 Eagle, which is preferred if practical. Photos below may help.

Dang, what's the construction method on those? Looks like either resin 3d printed or professional injection molded plastic.

Crossfire: All these Micro PMC's are flown on standard Quest MMX-II (1/8A.5-1) BP motors. MicroMaxx motors. F14 and F15 are both clusters of two MMX-II motors.

ZeroIgnite: PMC (Plastic Model Conversions) is a NAR competition where we convert an intended Static Plastic Model for Safe & Stable flight. All these Micro PMC's are typical "Stock" Plastic Models in 1:144th to about 1: 100 scale from just about any of the many injection molding Plastic Kit manufacturers, Revell, Monogram, Trumpeter, etc.

Just about all of my Micro PMC fleet have Photo build threads on/in this forum. Many of them within the last year or so. I'm sure a Search should bring up the entire build threads showing exactly HOW these models were converted for flight. All Starting with two view Cardboard cutout CG projected locations.

Ps: There is an extensive PMC Thread in the Galleries Forum under "themed Rockets" here as well.
