Hi all,

I have some 1/8 ply fins with a long root which are a little warped. They are warped along the root. I tried wetting the cupped side and pressing them with heavy stuff, but the bow is persistent. Do you think I can force them in place as I tack them down then rely on a nice epoxy fillet to hold them straight?

Heat and moisture combined with weight or force, can shape wood. Acoustic guitars are made that way. Flattening wood works the same way. Moisture and weight aren't always enough. You need heat.

I took a full sheet of .25 Baltic and screwed in 2 x 4 ' s down the 8' length and put it out side . Worked great
