Yes that really does suck. I just don't understand how this is allowed to happen? File a MESS. You may get a new motor but why would you want one?

AT L1000's often cato. There a recall at one time. 50% failure rate.

I filed a mess report, casing failed at the forward end. I've flown two others from 2016 mfg that performed nominally.
