Wow, that's some kinda motor mount - looks heavy. Nice liftoff shots!

I built a CNC router in my garage. So I can make them pretty fast.

That motor mount is amazing - but how did you build a CNC router in your garage? - that sounds pretty interesting too.

Devontmp thank you it is great to be here. Hoping to contribute to the community as best I can.

rocketgeek101 here is the basic drawing layout of parts:

scsager yeah it was an epic task but well worth it. I will write up a CNC post but that is a bit out of scope for this thread. But I do alot of custom work for anyone that needs stuff cut. Fabbug there are some pictures of the machine in there somewhere. But I make alot of robot/toys/rocket parts for myself too. :p

Here are some second flight pics:

Touchdown... recovery team in route.

Baffle system worked great... The recovery system seen no black stuff.

Motor mount in good condition. However I broke off a retaining fin removing it... Which is fine since that was it's last flight. Redesigned(Version 3) it to take an RMS29/40-120... tentative launch oct. 20th.

Faith V3 lifted off on Oct 20th with a perfect flight.

Now with a Aerotech RMS29/40-120 motor hardware and a G53-5FJ reload.

The parachute, so beautiful!

Very pleased with this design. Has a payload bay and baffles and retention all in one, that is all removable from the airframe. I found my mid power workhorse. It will get one more launch in November, then I am going to start working on my Level1 build, scheduled for liftoff in January.

Thanks TopRamen, I am pretty proud of it. Out of cash right now so will wait until after Christmas to start up R&D again :p
