Hi everybody,
My name is Ted Chernok.
I have shock cords for sale.
I'll make any different configuration of shock cord you need.
I've sold many of these cords now, coast to coast, thanks to you guys,

These shock cords and sewing techniques have proven to be
Super tough, strong, and resilient.
All of the thread I use is Tex 90 Kevlar.
That's very thick and heavy,
Heavy enough to use as a shock cord on a small model rocket.
Though I enjoy selling directly on TRF through PM's
It's easier to maintain the ads on ebay.

I just got material in so I'm making more cords in 2 different sizes.
The 1" Tubular Nylon is very strong cord and is intended for a very large rocket.
The 9/16" Tubular Nylon is soft, supple, and easy to pack.

I ordered one each of the two loop and three loop. This is going to be prefect for my dual deployment rocket setup. The flat Kevlar packs very well, so full lengths can be packed in smaller or stubby rockets. Stitching is top notch. Had my order shipped same day. Ted has this down to a science, and has great customer service. Don't hesitate to order one of these shock cords for your rocket. Thanks Ted!

teddy will the 1/2 Kevlar handle a 40 pound rocket?

Ted... just wanted you to know the cords I got from you worked FINE in the 7.5" der red max! well made great looking and priced right! oh and they work PERFECT!

The 1/2" Kevlar is beautiful material,,,,,,
it's soft,,,, supple,,,, packs extremely well,,, and is super strong--- FOR IT'S SIZE.....
It's still 1/2" ,,,,, 40 lbs is a BIG rocket by any standards.....
For sure,,, that's the 1' Kevlar or the 1" Tubular Nylon.....

What diameter is the rocket ???
How long is the booster ???
How long is the payload section ????
Is it pretty much a standard configuration,,,,
Drogue on bottom in the booster separates at apogee,,,,
Main chute on top,,, over the avionics bay,,, in the payload section, separates at a predetermined altitude.....
Cannons are mounted on the bulkheads of the av bay......
Are you using a piston in the payload section for the main.....
What material is the rocket made of,,, is it all fiberglass,,,
The more I know about the rocket,, the more I can help set up the cords so it all works.....

Ted, last weekend I flew both my Minie-Magg and my DX3 using that 25 ft shock cord that you sent me. It's perfect! I just ordered another one which I'm going to cut in half and use for 12 ft shock cords on my mid-power rockets.

I received my 25' 1/2" kevlar shock cord with 3 loops last night. It looks to be very well made and the material is very supple as Ted had mentioned. It is soft and folds easily like a ribbon. It is a really nice material. The stitching is very elaborate.

I just purchased a "lot" of material from a supplier.........
It is definitely not inexpensive,,,,,, for the right material,,,,,,,,
It's most important that you get the right material.........
If you have the wrong material and you try to sew it
the performance suffers greatly,,,,,,

Ok, by your response I am taking it that you only have the white shock cord, correct? If this is the case, can I send you the shock cord I have and see if you can sew loops on it? I am fairly sure it is good material as it was given to me by Gerald Meux to use on my 15 pound Super DX3. Thank you.

The materials I have are very specifically listed in the ads,,,,,,,
There is a 9/16" White Tubular Nylon,,, this is just a touch wider then the 1/2"......
I have the 1/2" Green Tubular Nylon,,, if that helps,,,,,

For me to answer whether I can sew your cord I have to see it to see how heavy it is.......
What width is the cord,,,,,,, is the cord Nylon,,,,,,, is the cord tubular or flat strap.....
I don't personally like shipping charges,,, they are expensive.........
You would have to pay to ship the cord to me,,,,, for me to see if I can sew it......

I order the stock one and two custom shock cords and these are the best made cords I have bought anywhere. Will be buying more soon. On December 14,2013 at ROC538 I will be using two 40 foot cords that Teddy made for me. It will be my 46 pound scratch build rocket going for my level three. I will be emailing you so I can get my total I owe you and you will be getting some great pictures on 12/14/13 with God Grace watching over me. thanks you are a top AAA person and seller.
