'Glassing A Tube

I recently had the need to increase the O.D. of a coupler, which I did by finishing with release fabric instead of Mylar (I wanted to remove excess epoxy more than produce a smooth surface). Here is a comparison of the two tubes.



I don't want people to get the idea that this technique is only applicable with the Mylar method; this way of wrapping tubes provides superior results when you use release fabric ("peel ply") and even go on to vacuum bag the part.
