Well, I couldn't build both Vintage Centuri kits and not the third one. So I opened up one of my Laser Lance kits and will begin working on it today. The Doctor said I am healing well but will not return to work for another month.......that's some quality building time.:)

Oh no! You've opened the shrink-wrap! It's no longer a collectable!!

Can you measure the dimensions of the nose cone? Length, Base/Middle/Top diameters? I wouldn't mind having a go at turning one up :)

Yes, I have a ton of vintage kits and they are all begging to be opened, built and flown. This build was pretty straight forward. I don't really like fiber fins, but they do finish fast. I brush on 1 coat of balsa sealer to seal the edges, one coat of primer, one coat of flat white and 2 coats of glossy white. The pressure decals went on with no problems and are still have there grip. I have all 3 of the vintage Centuri Buck Rogers birds built and ready for flight.
