Back in the day there was CMR. Who is the best supplier nowadays? Pratt? Apogee? Someone else?

And what tubes or cones are use, specifically?

Thanks!

You could try QCR (Qualified Competition Rockets) at https://www.cybertravelog.com/qcr/ . Doug Pratt has some of CMR's vacuform nose cones and egg capsules. If you want to fly FAI competition, I believe most modelers scratch-build their tubes from very lightweight fiberglass wrapped around a machined mandrel. These models are considered too heavy if their empty weight is more than about 3-5 grams.

What events are you flying?

If you want to get some ideas of what is used in NAR competition check out the issue of Sport Rocketry that features NARAM (usually Nov/Dec). The Jan/Feb 2013 issue covered the previous WMSC in Slovakia. You normally don't see much competition coverage in Sport Rocketry these days. Unfortunately, competition does not get much coverage these days because there are not many people that fly it anymore.

This should get you started. :eyepop:
