Convert Hangar 11 4" X-15 to Boost Glider???

So give me some thoughts, Is it too wild?:dark: Can it be done?
I have an unique idea about dumping a lot of nose weight at apogee for shifting to glide mode.
Not going to talk about it until it works.
I also have plans to reduce flight weight significantly by upgrading all fin material to advanced composites.
The Rocket will have a conventional Chute recovery system in case of failure to convert to glide mode.
This will be triggered by RC control OR altitude in case of RC failure.
THE RC control can disarm the charges after flight is established.

Sounds like a challenging and rewarding project.

It would be quite heavy.

It sounds too difficult converting a kit that is built for HPR based on design with very little lift surface.

The wing surface area is too small. I was thinking of building one RC with a delta full wing configuration like these:
