I worked at General Dynamics in the 80's, where they made the ground-launched cruise missile system, and they had a very similar poster-sized print hanging in the plant. As I recall, in the version I saw, it was a much larger plane on the ground, but the composition was the same. You saw the missile coming over the plane in the first frame, and then you saw the fireball and the plane flattened and in flames in the second frame. I always thought was a very cool picture!
 
Wow, I wonder how much somebody would pay just for the box. I still have the box that mine came in. I can't throw it away for some reason. I'll even throw in the pre-built and flown model for that price. It's a little worse for wear. Each fin has at least one crack in it that has been repaired with epoxy. :) And I wouldn't fly it on an Estes E. I've always used an Aerotech E motor, except for the first couple of flights. :)
