Well, the song, Bad came out in 1987. Ghostbusters was 1984, as was I Want a New Drug.

Though I like all three songs, I don't think any of them has a strong or memorable melody. It's the kind of melody that just comes easily to mind. It's so simple, the real trick is making a song out of it that holds up. You have to stress the rhythm to make it work.

Tom Petty recently sued Sam Smith for stealing Won't Back Down. IMHO, it's basically writing a song with no musical idea, and then suing somebody else for doing the same thing. But... that's just MHO. Waddo I know?

I have removed the post that offended you even though it made me laugh out loud. Although I performed a diligent search of humorous Google Images featuring Hillary and the Golden Ratio, I was unable to find anything even remotely humorous featuring Hillary. The concern ought not to be that a few jerks who keep breaking TRF rules would get a thread locked.

The concern ought to be why moderators would rather LOCK A THREAD that got polluted by the jerks, rather than PUNISH THE JERKS for breaking the TRF rules and just delete the posts the jerks polluted the thread with.

Of course when a thread is politically-tinged, ought to be removed at the start, just like a SPAM or porn site link would be removed. Not locked if "things get out of hand" which is 100% the opposite of the TRF rules that say NO politics or religion.
