What we got here is failure to communicate. You see, there are some men you just can't reach, so, you get what we got here last week, which is the way he wants it, well, he get's it.

When's the last time you watched, Cool Hand Luke,? I pulled it out today, the first time in a long time, a movie from back in a time when movies were good.

I don't care if it rains or freezes 'long as I got my plastic...

There is a girl who weighs less than 100 lbs. that ate 65 hard boiled eggs in 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

If you eat 50 hard boiled eggs, you are going to have to sleep by yourself.

Maybe for a few days.

Great movie. It came out at the end of the great movie era. Oh O! I hope I didn't offend anyone:wink:

A great 60's badass !
Oh, Luke. He was some boy. Cool Hand Luke. Hell, he's a natural-born world-shaker.

Well it was the 60's: the "heroes" were on the chain gang and the "villains" had badges. Still a good flick and very quotable.

great movie, i'm only 17 and i enjoyed that movie thoroughly! shakin' the bushes boss!

Haven't seen it in a while but it's one of my favorites.

The thread title reminds me of the one about the guy who call the state wildlife commission to complain that they needed to tweak the instructions on the owl he'd just eaten. They asked how he got their number and he said, 'from the same instruction tag that said 'Wash Biol Surv'"

I know..I know...boiled,boiled, *BOILED*...Is it possible to develop dyslexia as you get older? I had a serious problem the other day, I set up a new NAPA Pro account at work last week, got the password, tried and tried to access the page, but just couldn't get on, I knew I was putting in the the right PW, the last two numbers are 75, but I kept punching in 57, it took several tries for me to figure out what was happening. This seems to be happening more and more lately. I've noticed lately I seem to be seeing letters and numbers in reverse order. I've recently started a new job that actually takes brain power, for the past two years I've been in a job that you could train a monkey to do, you didn't have to think. The first week on the new job my mind was so frazzled I could hardly type any thing on the computer. I just finished the third the third week now and things are starting to settle down. I'll just have to wait and see.

Oh, it's not what I hoped?

Har har!

Where is the casino? I saw a bumper sticker that said "Free Tibet"...

If I eat fifty hard boiled eggs, no one will want to be in the same county as me---just sayin---H

"Boiled" is the correct spelling, but "bioled" or even "biled" is probably correct pronunciation for the movie...

Regarding the late-onset dyslexia, you did just type, "I just finished the third the third week now..." so I think maybe you are onto something...

It happens to all of us. As I get older I start wondering more about the hereafter, as in, I walk into a room and wonder, "What the hell am I here after?"
