I have a meeting tonite and will get several opinions. However, the rocket is 8' long! I would think 1.5 times the length, enough time for the chute to deploy, would b ample. We'll see what masses say?:y:
Why go to the Dr if you don't think you need his help????

Hah, I have a 4 foot shock cord on a 2.5 foot long rocket. (I have read and understood the side effects such as the nosecone getting beat up against the fins)
