So I finally got the opportunity to work with the almighty AIM XTRA from entacore electronics. This altimeter is great. After working around with it a few times I finally got some data just to work out the cakes. I did a simple test run by placing the AIM XTRA outside and having the AIM BASE unit lock onto the device. I took this picture of the reported Google Earth Data. The lock on was pretty accurate. I look forward to launching this device into the air and getting some awesome data.

Not the best website for sure. $400 so right in line with the other players. I'm thinking about picking one up this spring.

$400 is correct, but its big time worth it. If you have any further questions let me know. Ill do my best to answer your questions.
