That's a great repair job. What did you use to fill in the spirals on the tube and how to you get more than 5 pictures on a post? Thanks.

Magic. And magic.

I bought the tubes from Braden (UPscaler) and they were already filled. It looks like Elmer's Wood Filler but I can't be certain.

It's a glitch in Forum Runner. I could attach as many as I want.

I haven't looked at it on my computer but it seems to work fine from here.

Thanks I am not one who normally rebuilds rockets but I had spare tube so I figured why not?

The previous owner has informed me the the rocket is much to short. (The previous was like 8-9ft if I remember right.

Lucky for him I have 25ft of 5.5inch compatible tubing. (Mega Mean Machine)

I like it short so I will probably fly it that way. But I really don't care.

Very nice repair. I have a few I can send you to repair if you enjoy them.

To be completely honest I enjoy the minimal cost factor.

I had the parts on hand that I really didn't have a use for so everything came together.

I have built in the last week 4 new 54mm rockets and only have one 54mm motor in stock.

I need motors... :p

I would be interested though, my build pile has been demolished this week.

Awesome job. I have my share of rebuilds and repairs to tackle when I get home.
