The 900Mhz BeeLine GPS has been updated to use a u-blox NEO-6 GPS module instead of the Trimble Lassen IQ. This new GPS chipset is much more sensitive, allowing for quicker lock times after motor burnout. The G-switch option has been eliminated, and the memory upgraded to one that is 8x larger allowing for recording almost 2 1/2 hours of data after power is applied. The new board is also slightly smaller measuring 28mm x 68mm without the battery (which is actually slightly larger than the board). Because of the initialization requirements, it is only available in the "smart" configuration.

For a limited time, the Trimble version will be available in the 'basic' configuration.
