Congrats Dragon! What a great flight.
Yup, just got back from watching it-- not much of a view due to the clouds, but we got to see it for a few moments. I was pretty surprised by how bright it was from the other side of the state.
Anyway, I'm glad it was a successful flight. I wouldn't want anything to happen to that ice cream!![]()
From here in east Orlando, we had an interesting view. The clouds on the horizon lit up for a few seconds before we saw the rocket. We saw it bright and clear for a second or two before it went behind the clouds. As it approached the clouds, they reflected more of the rocket's ligth producing something that looked a bit like sunset or sunrise. We could still track it when it was behind the clouds since it caused them to glow.
