Welcome to the Yank Mystic Buzz Gallery on TRF.

This gallery showcases the Yank Mystic Buzz and those rockets derived from it. Particularly appropriate in this thread are the following:

Yank: Mystic Buzz (3"):
LOC: Athena 3: PK-37

as well as any upscales, downscales, clones, kitbashes or other derivative works. Even Goonies qualify!

Son and I launched it a few weeks back on a Estes G80-7T and it few great, no issues. A very nice rocket.

Anyone else see the similarities to the Binder Thor? The name shares the same Greek mythology heritage as well...

Looks nice!

Can anybody give me more info on this one?

The closest I find on the LOC site is the Athena3, PK-47. Is this something else?

I don't find any listed in the 2010-12 catalog or the 1987 or 1989 catalogs (the only ones I have)

So are the earlier rockets in this thread Athenas or Athena3s?

Is an Athena the same as Athena3?

Assuming yes, both are derrivatives of the Mystic Buzz?

I appreciate the info.

The Athena & Athena3 are one in the same and originally named the Mystic Buzz.

That is pretty cool. It does look like a Thor. Scratch build here I come.
