    SEMROC Centering Rings

    I just received a shipment from SEMROC. I needed some centering rings to make a 29mm motor mount in a #175 (1.22" OD) body tube. This is the set I ordered:

    It's pretty clear how it's to be assembled, but is this how all of SEMROC's centering rings are? Anyone have any feedback or tips on using these?

    Also, as a side note I needed some thrust rings for the #115 tube:

    The centering rings I've ordered were more what you expected with the simple annulus. The ribs seem like a nice idea to give additional gluing area and make a more rigid system. If you are doing through-the-wall find, I'd have the CR ribs tight against one side of the fins (assuming 3 fins of course).
