Little Joe boilerplate flight
A couple of weeks ago I posted a few photos of the model my daughter, Campbell, had constructed for the upcoming World Championships. This past weekend Campbell and I had the opportunity to do a full-up flight test of the boilerplate version of her Little Joe model at the Austin Area Rocketry Group launch, and wanted to share some video:

Conditions were VERY windy with gusts into the 20kt range. In spite of some significant weathercocking the model flew flawlessly, staged properly, deployed all of the recovery elements, and landed without damage.
Just as an amusing FYI, the airframe for this boilerplate model was fashioned from the tube container for a bottle of Jameson's Whiskey.
Campbell is ready for the Championships, now her dad needs to finish up his model!
