My rockets usually fly naked. If they survive, they earn their paint.
Come fly with ROSCO or ICBM in Orangeburg SC => http://rocketrysouthcarolina.com
It's not exceedingly loud, but it doesn't need to be, as it generates a sound that's easily picked up from background noise when off wandering through a field looking for a rocket.
At LDRS, while searching for another rocket, we found one that had fallen out of someone's rocket. It was lying in the low spot in between rows of potato plants that were at least 3 feet tall. We heard it from at least 150 feet away and zeroed in it fairly quickly. It was wrapped in black electrical tape and laying in dark dirt.
