Very, very nice looking rocket friend !! That particular Estes kit and the Sat.Interceptor have always been a couple of my favorites.I have not built Crossbow (yet !) but did the Sat. Intercept. and also an upscale of that kit that was offered by K&S ,based on a 2.6" body tube.......it has that WOW factor to say the least !

    Nice work !

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. We took it out today and flew it twice (along with our other rockets). The first flight was a short test with an A8-3, and then a second on a C6-5. It flew fairly well although had a slight corkscrew that made a full revolution about every 1000'. I'll post a video soon.

A rotation about every 1000 feet?? How many thousands did it go on a C6-5? Maybe every 100' ?

No, I meant every 1000'. I get about 2000' total on a C6-5 and it did about 1.75 corkscrews.

Fantastic job finishing it and getting those decals on straight. I wish I had enough open space to put a C6-5 in something like that!

The Crossbow flies amazingly well for something with so many fins and "widgets".
