This is for my fellow Canadians, and anybody that's close to a Princess Auto store.

Okay, Princess Auto here in Edmonton has Luggage Locators. Small-ish, green, and they have a 60 foot range (line of sight is much more, like 100 feet). I bought a set, for use with my more expensive rockets. They appear to be fairly well built, with a steel threaded locking ring that would attach to your nose cone or inside your AV bay.

$10.00 after the GST. Give your local Princess Auto a call and see if they have any left in the Surplus Section. Cheap insurance for your $$$ rockets.
Plays with wood, cardboard, and carpenters glue at home.

L1 will have to wait until 2013. Oh well.......patience is a lost virtue any-ways...

Sounds like something worth checking out - what's the brand name? Or is it "Luggage Locator(s)".

Uh.....yep. It's a fancy cardboard box that says "Luggage Locator" on it.

    Box has a website: http://www.etatravelgear.com/

Okay, the official website on the box doesn't show them anymore. Probably why Princess Auto scooped them up for dirt cheap.

    Here's what they look like:

    Amazon has them: http://www.amazon.com/ETA-Travel-Gea.../dp/B002ZS8JW6

Actually, cruising thru Amazon and there's a raft of locators for luggage, keys, etc. This might be a cheap way to put some security in your rockets.....or whatever for that matter.
