I am pretty sure he is just looking for more "screamin' deals" or freebies, instead of spending his allowance. Also, seeing as this is a two-stage, he probably needs two of those cases...

Bump. I am trying to find the tubes from somewhere that doesn't charge 500 dollar shipping for an item. I am ordering the raven from Aerocon, and I can't figure out whether I should get the 70 or 250 g version. I do not see a difference in price. Which one is better?

    Good luck on the shipping.....

i would go with the 70G rating if i was u... not saying you wont bust 50 G's one day... BUT you will probably buy a second raven by then, and then go for the 250g....

70G will give you a more accurate acceloration reading.

Can you give us a guess of what you think it means? I venture that if you're unsure of the specs of the unit, you run the risk of not being able to successfully use the unit.

Within the specs, I see the following:

    "Lots of high-quality recorded data:
    400 Hz axial accelerometer, +/- 70 Gs
    200 Hz lateral accelerometer, +/- 35 Gs
250 G single-axis accelerometer available as an option"

Break down each item and develop an understanding.

Can you explain what happened? I was planning to fly my Raven into the 80-85 gee neighborhood...figured it just wouldn't report for that "ping" of the accelerometer.

It was a 3" rocket on a CTI L3200. When I armed the altimeters, both pyro channels were beeping on the 70G unit and the 250G unit was beeping (250G unit only had one ematch connected as the tender descender only has room for one.). Before the flight, as far as I knew it was a perfectly functional unit. The flight hit about 80Gs (according to the 250G unit), there was no main and the only apogee charge that blew was the one connected to the 250G unit. When I tried to connect the 70G unit to my laptop, I got nothing, it won't even beep or flash so I'm assuming its just not turning on. So I belive that it was fried......

I've put a 50g ARTS through ~100g's before, and all it did was eject way early. I don't see why the Raven would be any different.

Haven't heard back on Raven, so it is still there. I found the tubing, and the coupler, thanks to dixontj93060 (I think that's it) and CDI's 30% off everything in the store. The only thing I have left are the things in the OP.
