I'll watch it. I don't expect any revalations but I'm sure it's worth a try. In the mean time I'll just listen to Coast to Coast at bed time.

I heard someone from the National Geographic Society on the radio the other day responding to a question about that series. He explained that, unfortunately, the National Geographic Channel isn't owned or run by the NGS and the NGS doesn't have as much control as they'd like of what's aired on the channel. He said that the NGS hopes to improve the situation in the future.

and his trusty side-kick Leroy Billybob. Together, they are known are known as "The White Lightning Scourge". Reports of their effectiveness as UFO observers are highly over-rated. Meanwhile, no arrests have been made in the great Moonshine Hunt of 2012. Film at 11

The FM section on my beater car's radio died and I'm stuck in AM hell (unless I bring cassttes!) and that program is the closest I'll ever come to listening to a colouring book....

Ha! I was listening to Coast to Coast at 3:30 in the morning on the way to the Delta IV-Heavy launch on Friday. It was quite hilarious. I mean, what could be better than listening to crazy people talking about how the aliens aligned some ancient pillars, at 3:30 AM?

That explains a *lot*. I saw their current lineup and they are clearly devolving to match History/Discovery channels. I feel better knowing this is beyond the control of the NGS -- or at least it isn't the NGS promoting this crap.

It's a shame when this topic gets trivialised by poor programming.

I'm watching this show for the first time. Episode about Stephenville & Dublin Texas. I was a police officer in Dublin for a while and my wife grew up there. I also listen to Coast to Coast every night just to help me sleep by drowning out my tenitus and giving me something to keep me entertained. I am not a UFO believer per-se, and I never saw any UFOs in that area. I did see a fireball one night but obviously it was just a rather large piece of space debris angering the atmosphere. Basically, I guess I am saying please don't judge the good folks of Erath County Texas based on this TV show.
