    Scratch built rocket

A friend of mine lent me this rocket to clone. Before I do, I want to make sure it is an original and not a Design of the month. (DOM)
    Anyone recognize this rocket?

It does look familiar, as if it was a kit from some defunct company. At first I thought Shrox, but I don't see any matches. But something about that half-ring tail and those distinct forward fins look soooo familiar....

I spent the last two hours searching the internet and YORF plans and found this info.

    http://www.oldrocketplans.com/quest/que2012/que2012.htm

This rocket is a highly modified Quest Super Cruiser!

I think it may be the love child of a Quest Super Cruiser and a Pemberton Technologies Gorgon

I started my clone of the Super Cruiser over the weekend. MM glued and both wings. I borrowed a NC from another Quest kit, the Aerospace One Fighter Escort.

I'm under the gun so to speak, I need to return a rocket I borrowed. Besides, yours is a lot more difficult!
