LOC Precision Tristar Build
I just ordered a LOC Precision Tristar rocket kit. Am looking for any good performance suggestions/modifications from other Tristar users. This is a 3-motor cluster setup as you know. I will be launching it on an 8 ft. rail launcher I've custom built for my larger rockets.

I began building my new Tristar. The build is relatively simple and straightforward however I am taking extra care to epoxy all the engine tubes and engine cluster center rings, and fins well. Ive also given the fins an aerofoil shape to reduce drag. The rocket main body tube will be painted blue metalflake and the the payload section will be gloss white. The nose cone, engine tubes and tail fins will painted satin black for higher visibility in the bright South Texas sun. I am also swapping our the white parachute for a high visibility orange chute. The 29mm engine tubes have no engine blocks or hooks in them so a wide range of 29mm motors can be used. Most likely, we be utilizing a cluster of 3 H series RMS engines to power this rocket for high altitude flights. More to follow..............

Well, I just completed building my Loc Tristar. The rocket turned out really nice. I also added PML lauch rail lugs and a parachute snap ring swivel, to the shock cord for quick chute changes. Here's a pic of the finished product. It's slick of course....lol.
