For Sale: Mongoose 54, Mostly Built
Altimeter bay is assembled with what I'm pretty sure are #6 allthread running the length. Forged eyebolt in each end; there are also two 1/4" bulkheads that fit in the bay.
The lower recovery system anchor is assembled, but not epoxied in place, and no anchor has been attached to the nosecone.
The fillets have been sanded, but are not perfect -- a little extra epoxy, or other filler, and they'd be perfect.
The very tip of the nosecone is also almost imperceptibly dinged -- it's minor enough that I can't easily get a picture of it. If you look at very closely it in the right light and from the right angle, you can see it. A bit of time with ultra fine sandpaper on a block, and you could make it disappear.
New, these go for $379. I'll let this one go for $300 shipped anywhere in the US. I will ship outside the US, but buyer pays actual shipping.
