    Quick Pinwheel Build

I decided to build one of the new 13mm pinwheel rockets designed by Art Applewhite today.

I figured, hey - why not post a build thread? So I downloaded the pattern and printed it out on 110lb card stock. (A lovely salmon color, don't you think? Then I gathered the rest of my tools.

I scored the folds on piece A using the back of my exacto (no dried up ballpoints around here.) and then cut line 1.

I folded along line 2 and glued down. (a slightly damp paper towel encouraged the paper to relax enough for the glue to really take hold.)

I realized I needed a motor to get the MMT sized correctly. I went and got one out of my field box and used it to wrap and glue the MMT together.

I had a little trouble getting the MMT into the pinwheel - I guess i didn't cut the holes quite big enough. Using the motor helped get everything lined up.
