I used to build little rockets with streamers for the kids to fly but mostly I am a lifelong RC pilot who flies all kinds of aircraft and helicopters. I am interested in trying an RC glider. I saw a twin tailed Estes that looked pretty cool. To fly it at my RC flying field It would need to have the motor retained onboard after launch. I imagine that is the norm but I am not sure. I would like a decent sized glider with good flying characteristics and I can build from a kit or plans. Thanks!
