It's not often someone does a killer remake of a classic song. These guys nailed it pretty good. All except for that guitar break. That was pitiful.
Who dat sayin, "Who dat", when I say, "Who dat?"
I like it, nice touch!
I can't believe that you didn't mention the album is all covers...Rocket Man, anyone?

they did an Elton John cover?? I know there are some ACDC and Zepplin covers.
That's really good. They even covered the details in the extra background chorus and instruments (real banjo or synth?).
Plus added their own style in minor ways.
Great songs last forever. Neil had a lot of them!
This actually sounds pretty good. Then I clicked on their D'yer Mak'er cover. Ugh. Robert Plant he is not.
Yea! heres a high energy version http://youtu.be/eqprhVmv3BI
Great tune,timeless .
Sounds pretty good but part of the amasing thing about Niel is the fact that so much of the time he was a lone man with a guitar around his neck and a harmonica strapped to his face one man banding it!! Puddle of Mud is what like 5 people?? I also feel like a bunch of the energy from the original song is missing , seems watered down to me .Just my 2 cents though if ya like it have fun! Jim
Some of Neil's best stuff is just him and his guitar (and harmonica). He writes most of his songs about his own experiences. It's hard for somebody else to play a cover and have the same emotion. Technically it can be a good rendition (like Puddle of Mudd, except for the vocals!), but it misses that "edge".
When Neil plays "Hey Hey, My My", it comes out different each time, but always great. I play my own version of it... an it's always not so great.![]()
