    Coming Soon from 3D ROCKETRY- Ion Collector 3D

    The Ion Collector 3D will be available mid June 2012.
    She will have:
    28.5" total length (BT-60 bodytubes, 1-18" and 1-6")
    2" coupler
    2.5" plastic nose cone
    2" plastic boat tail
    1/8" thk plywood fins (through the wall construction)
    15" mylar parachute
    5' kevlar shock cord
    3" x .75" thk ring with 3/16" plywood inner supports
    24mm motor mount with 2 fiber rings (Flights up to 1400 ft with a E9-6 motor)
    1" spacer to fly D12-5's

    I like it!

    Can I offer a suggestion? The fins currently don't touch the outside of the ring -- have you considered how it would look with them touching the ring?

    'tis a creative design, either way!

    Very cool design, but needs a sharper nose cone.

    Real cool design! Yeah, me thinks it would look even cooler with a Nike style 'poke yer eye out' pointy nosecone

    I also 2nd Kevin's remark that it would really be mega cool for the ring to touch the fins...
