LOL...I wasn't thinking rebuilding when mentioning my concern over the long pointy thing on mine (though it would be a shame if yours succumbs to the rock)...I was thinking it's only fun until someone loses an eye and mine looked a little like the old yard darts on the nose. I really do hope it gives you a good flight. My gut says it will, but then my gut says a lot of things. Good luck on the launch.

Very interesting build. Very imaginative. I must admit, it's not my cup of tea... but it is a true craftsmen's build!

I can only imagine what would come of you and Scotty Dog starting your own Model Rocket company (or design bureau )

schlockets--I like it--I think? Anyway, glad you joined into the fun ! If you have not done so already , intro yourself on the watering hole. I guess I should have given an update on this build--I'm really bad about moving on to other projects and not going back--SORRY-I-WILL-GET-BETTER-----I - PROMISE.. Launched the tingler twice--first was a no go---hung on the rod. The rod goes all the way through the body and exist the nose. I think it was misaligned--it was a tight slide anyway. Opened up the nose hole a tick and made sure she slid well on the rod the next time---no problems. I think I got really lucky the first time--went up a few inches and jammed--ejection charge blew the rear section down and pushed the chute--no damage but a little ding on the aft section--second attemp went well--rolled one way under power--reversed after burnout. But it flew straight and really bleeds off speed after burnout---No pics--I posted last night I think on another thread--was by myself and laying on my belly--the pincers were a bit intimidateing---. Since it flew so well , I'll launch again in the spring with camera in hand and another person---oh yea low flight--figured that though, maybe 3-4 hundred ft mark. ---I'll just call you TRW -- easier for me-----H

Love that rocket. As the young people say these days in a complimentary way "That is sick!" And it flies too! The Earwig pincers can poke both your eyes out. The fork tongs can rip open flesh if it goes land shark. Good thing you know what you are doing. Vincent Price would be proud.

Thank you sir. I must admit it was a fun build, got to go outside the box on it and felt good ! I have another outside the box design on the boards ,but I need to work out some structural/build problems---coming this summer at a forum near you!

You have to fly it first and find out where it breaks, then patch her. . . I mean IT up for a second time and you have a much better rocket. Your finishes are so natural. . . so Jedi. KUTGW.

Boss Nass says of your monster rockets "Hornet Driver must be spending much time going thru da planet's core!"

Any chance we could get a Triffid on a launch pad?
