    Rocksim optimal mass calc.

Does anyone know if rocksims optimal mass calculator accounts for the empty case and liner during coast after burnout? If so is that mass included in the optimal number?

Rocksim includes the motor weight in the simulation calcs, but the optimal mass reported to you is dry weight without the motor included.

As a side note, this is one area where simulation models differ from reality. The engine files include the loaded/ready to fly weight, as well as the final empty weight, but not any info about what happens in between. I think Rocksim still uses a linear mass/time curve that ends at burnout, but I don't think it has any way to account for the small difference after burnout of any still burning delay train or black powder charges. Luckily these are usually very small.
