    Login errors.

I've been having login trouble since the site was updated.

Always errors on the first attempt, and almost always works on the second attempt.
    Am I the only one?

I get an error every time I login. It remembers me for a day or so and then I have login in and the error reoccurs.

I dislike the new format and it never remembers me. The change is nothing more than an annoying inconvenience....

Funny. When I finally checked the "remember me" box, it keeps me signed on all the time. I can completely shut my computer off, wake up the next day and still be signed on. You all have concluded that this site really has issues anymore.
Who dat sayin, "Who dat", when I say, "Who dat?"

That depends on how long ago you logged on. Sometimes it does and sometimes it does not.

I know this much. I used to sign on every day before the change.

If "remember me" isn't working, it likely means a cookie problem in the browser, as that's how any site with a "remember me" function works.

First, try disabling all browser add-ons, toolbars, etc, as those can interfere, and see if the problem goes away. Then, try navigating to a blank page, clear your cache, close all browser windows, reopen it, and try again.

    Lightbulb Solved!

I just figured this out, and tested and confirmed it. We had this problem when the Phoenix Fan Force (www.phxff.net) changed over to our new site/hosting. I went to rocketryforum.com this morning and was not logged in, but when I clicked on the TRF logo it took me to www.rocketryforum.com and I was suddenly logged in again. The problem only occurs when you leave off the www at the front of the URL. I know there was a simple fix once the problem was identified, but if you just add the www to your bookmark you won't even have to wait for it.

Yep, it worked for me. I deleted the old bookmark first, typed the addy in and DIDN'T have to log in!!! It will still take some getting used to the new format.
