    29mm Dueces Wild?

I would like to do an upscale 29mm dueces wild which is going to be roughly 1.61x. I've done some searching online for the information but can't seem to find any helpful info for like cutting the BT for the motors and so on. Just wondering if anyone has that stuff to help me out so I am not trying to reinvent the wheel so to speak. I plan on using 2.56" standard tubing which isn't quite a true 1.61 upscale but I don't care. Also looking to keep the weight down as much as possible so I can do F's and G's.

Any info to help me in this project would be appreciated.

The 2.6" tube is close to scale with 29 mm mounts. Use LOC paper tubing. You will probably have to go to BMS for the nose cone as it's a short one for the diameter. Make your motor tubes long enough for an Aerotech RMS 29/40-120. If you maintain scale for the motor tubes, you will be limited to a motor 4.4" long. You can either slightly reduce the angle between the tubes or have them extend out the side more. (I reduced the angle on my 54mm version.) I would use 1/8" aircraft plywood for the fins with a TTW mount. Here's a rebuild thread on mine that shows the internal structure of the fin unit http://www.rocketryforum.com/showthr...-Deuce-Rebuild

Here are 2 videos on designing canted motor mounts that may be useful.
