so I was looking at the Argent and a thought occured to me that if one were to change the fins one could have a passable large avenger(sustainer only)...comments?

Couldn't an Avenger be upscaled for alot less then the cost of the new Argent?

nope, not even at full price. a lite weight version looks possible...untill you add in a recovery system and motor retainer. and if you consider that you can buy an argent for $40...not even close. large nose cones and solid transitions are not cheap.

Then perhaps kitbashing an Argent into an Avenger isn't a real good idea.

Semroc has the Avenger, kit K-38 kit available for under $25.
