    Centuri - Stellar Hercules Gallery

This may be a short thread, as I think I may be the only person around with one of these. The Centuri Hercules, part of the "Stellar" product line, was released in 1975 in the Rocket Times:

I'm told the Stellar kits were boxed for sale at retailers like Sears, but I really don't know about that. Sadly, I missed the Stellar kits, as I got into rocketry in 1976 and never saw any of the Rocket Times issues where these rockets appeared. It wasn't until just a couple of years ago, delving into Ninfinger's site, when I first saw them, and I really liked the Hercules. Semroc carries all the parts, even laser-cut fins, so building my own wasn't hard to do, and it's a beauty on the pad or in flight.

I think I have one of these sitting in a bag which is hidden in a box which is stored in a shed... someplace.

That is a nice looking rocket. It has Centuri's style all over it. Looks to be a close relative of the Centurion—I can see why you'd want to build it.

It's now officially on my "some day" list. Nice job. I like it a lot.

Thanks for the kind words. I would have liked to have done the "catalog" artwork, but I'm just not good at curved masks.
