    red or red

    which of these reds do you think goes better with 'cobalt blue metalic'?
    nose cone red or wingtip red? thanks

    I've got a few days before the rocket is ready...and if needed a dehumidifer, being single does have some good points .

    Just a note ,speaking of reds. Duplicolor Vintage Red Pearl is a KILLER red !More of a garnet/ruby.

    The nose cone color looks good. The fin color is obscured quite a bit due to the flash, but it looks close to the nose cone color to me.

    so for those wondering...I went with the nose cone red (rusto metalic red). as for what, well I still need to clear coat it but, here is a teaser pic .

    Good choice on the Rusto metallics.

    I really like them and wish there were more colors available.

    Looks like it turned out real good! I took one look at the pic in post #12 and thought "Hmm... That looks like a Ventris!"

    thanks for the kind words. finished weight came out to 460g w/o motor or wadding...flight sims suggest that an F52-6(F60-6 too) should be ideal...be nice if I had one, was thinking that an F52-5 should be about a sec early but livable.
