Pretty interesting...especially considering there appears to be a nozzle in the motor. So my guess is that it's either loaded and ready to fire, or already fired and not disassembled.

Hey dan!
I didn't quite know what to make of it. It's a really unusual looking build, but I figured the 54mm alone was worth $200 to someone...

Strange (to me) launch lug on it too... looks like a magnet?
It's an ACME conformal rail lug. The outside of the case looks good-just wonder if the nozzle is an indication it's 'baked' in? I always check the seller's other items and it's a weird grouping-obviously not a rocketeer. Wonder how much he paid for it.

There comes a point in your life that looks just like all the other points you didn't notice either.
If I had a nickel for every dollar I spent on rockets, I'd have more rockets.
You may have had more fun in your life than me, but the chaos was undeniable.
" Bought at an estate sale a few years age " .
This always scares me . The motor is still loaded with a nozzle , the shock cord was cut off . Sounds almost like somebody found a rocket on the side of the road and didnt know what to do with it .
Eric
That reminds me I have three new rockets I haven't "tagged" with my name and phone number. Same thing with all my new CTI cases. Doesn't keep 'em from getting lost, but it gives me hope I'll see them again.

Anyone using a 5qt mixer, he has two bowls for it. It's tempting for me to purchase a second bowl so I could mix M's easily without buying a new mixer...

Additionally, it appears that the orange section is a larger diameter than the rest of the rocket...

OK that orange section makes this look like some kind o nuclear worm with fins.
Note the rust, dust and random gunge all over the rocket. Chances of getting those closures open is.... low in my opinion.
Probably a package deal, buy one used CF Worm rocket and case.. get one free CATO

I low-balled the guy and he responded pretty quickly. He appears to know the value of the case (in new condition) and is assuming it is in serviceable condition. I am personally going to stay away from this one.

Is the listing still up? I couldn't find it, could someone post a link? I'd like to see it.

The rust on the retainer screws isn't a concern -- those cap head screws rust really easily. One launch and they're going to start to rust.
Rocket looks to be CF over PML phenolic, with G10 fins. The case likely needs a serious bath. I bet it can be cleaned, it's just going to take a bit of work.
