Best way to paint tip of nose cone?

I paint the tip first. Then I take a scrap piece of tube and cover the tip pushing down firmly keeping it straight. Cover the open end of the tube with some masking tape and spray the nose cone the main color.

You can get the. Rings in any used RMS kit... They work pretty well
