It's a little tough to tell from that photo but it looks like you are using solid wire. Stranded is usually considered a better choice. It will be more flexible. And a single failed strand will not compromise the performance of the avionics. You do need to be careful about stripping any wire in that you need to use the proper size tool to avoid nicking the metal. And with stranded, keep it twisted and neat so that you don't have stray strands poking out.
