    Vostok truss details?

Does anyone have any good photos or scale data on the trusses in between the 8K72K launcher & the Vostok capsule itself (the highlighted area in the attached photo)?

    I've seen these:

Plus I've gone through as many Flickr pages as I can stomach looking for good pics. I'm curious to know specifically more about the V-shaped solid pieces that attach the truss to the Vostok, as well as how the horizontal pieces mate up. Thanks!

You're adding more detail to the kit, aren't you?

WOW. I am just embellishing mine with some left over Das Modell and old railroad corrugated styrene, a junk Estes Rubicon nozzle and some old balsa and Popsicle sticks. Love the Pro jobs on the forum. Cuttin' out the nosecone, glassin' her up, maybe super thin striping tape and paper access panels with rivets? Hyper scale display nozzles? I have the sandman decals and I am just waiting for the correctly sized shroud templates and some extra poster board to finish it up. Having a real hard time deciding on a paint scheme: Unfueled with decals, ultra scale fanatic with frost covered decals, or to just make it look marvelous with frost and decals showing. Another good source is the card stock models link that is over on a YORF Vostok thread.

My purchasing department is looking into what I need to get the next batch of these out. I know I have some long-lead time items, but they're working on it.

Yup, that's a Cosmodrome Vostok kit, however the pieces in the pic have been modified somewhat from the 'stock' versions. Even still, I highly recommend picking up one of these kits when they become available, they're a lot of fun to build.
