I won't be there that weekend, but I should be there for Battle Of The Rockets.

Lvl two attempt with my first dual deploy to come. (fingers crossed on weather)

The LOC Magnum is almost there.

Back up: PML Ariel Dual Deploy. A lawn dart reborn---Where is the picture of it as a core sample?

Second back up: Red Sox nation Nike Smoke (non dual deploy.)

Clam Chowdah for all when I cert. (Even Yankees fans) Can our generator handle a crock pot?

The generator will handle two or three crock pots. I'm not sure Mike can handle the NE Clam Chowdah!

So far the weather reports for this weekend look great!

    Sat - 64°, sunny, 5mph winds
Sun - 68°, partly sunny, 9 mph winds

The BattlePark missed the snow today. 25 miles south they got 10 inches!

Lets hope the forecast holds, but it usually doesn't that far out. Who knows, it might get better!

It's Thursday night and the forecasts are getting a little more accurate.

Saturday is looking better and better! Mid 50º with 5mph winds from the north, clear skies and no chance of rain. Can't get much better then that.

See ya all at the field.

I've heard there is a hotel (Comfort inn?) close by that offers a discount for our group. Is this true? Which Hotel?

See you all there. I can't wait.

I'm on the road. If the field is too muddy to fly, somebody please call me at 434-603-1586. See you at the field.

I don't know of any discounts from any hotels for the launchs, but that is something we may be looking into.

Glad Kevin made it today. Definitely not muddy. Almost wish it was a little soft, I broke a fin today!

Great turnout. I counted 32 cars and a motorcycle at one point. I would estimate we had about 100+ people show up.

Tomorrow should be just as good, or better. The temps should be 10 degrees warmer, high 60s and no clouds. Winds might be slightly stonger, but it was almost dead calm by 3PM today so a little more wouldn't be a problem.

See ya all out at the BattlePark in the morning!

BTW, Mike is planning on flying his 3/4 scale Patriot on an M tomorrow.
