Well, I decided to make another stab at a build thread, though I kind of abandoned my last attempt (but not the project itself). This one will be a BT-80 based scratch build called the Neptune V. It will fly on 24mmx95mm engines, to about 650 feet on an Estes E9. The top part comes down on a 10" chute with a spill hole, and the bottom part on an 18" chute. (Sorry for everyone who uses metric...) Anyway, I started on it this morning, so all I've gotten done is the engine mount and two of the fins. Hopefully I'll work on it some more this evening, but no guarantees.
