Michiana Rocketry
Teams of 4 scouts build a 39” long, 2.25” diameter “Shell Shocked” egg lofting rocket kit and launch then on a G-80-10 Motors at 3 Oaks. Points earned for number of eggs carried, altitude, and velocity. Bonus points for fastest return, craftsmanship and scout spirit. We have 6 Scout teams, a Weebelos team and 2 adult teams registered.
This combined with our typical sport launch, an appearance by the University of Notre Dame USLI team and 2 flying 'L' requests for the away cell... should be a good day of flying.
