    Adept ALTS 25 accuracy?

Anyone out there still flying this altimeter?

I have a 10 year old ALTS 25. It is a second generation unit with the 4+ deployment options like they do now. It has flown twice ever. First, for my L3 cert and second last year.

Both times the Adept deployed the main early.
It was set for 1200ft and it deployed more like 1600 ft. My newly installed ARTS2 confirms that it fired at 1600 and the main blossomed at 1500.
The Raven also backs up this data.

My rockets usually fly naked. If they survive, they earn their paint.

No probs with any of my Adepts and they have been drug thru hell and back. Tommy is a great guy and stands up for his boards-no matter how old. Give him a ring. As matter of fact-I'm flying the first batch altimeter he made prior to the move to CO at Plaster City two weeks from now on a test flight.

I'd like to have a smart phone, but I don't qualify.

I don't always do things, but when I do, I think I'm busy
I'm usually left holding the bag. If I got a Right bag, maybe it would be better.
Why is it a launch lug? They are usually too small to carry your rocket to the pad with.
Why do I need an altimeter that talks back to me? I can get that at home.
