Try flipping the blade backwards.I cut the motor tube with my miter saw. That new 80 tooth blade sure cuts the cardboard better. I wrapped it with masking tape to protect the outside surface, and it seemed to work. Pretty smooth cut.
Seriously.
It is how I cut many light gauge materials including siding and soffitt.
Cuts it cleaner than even a fine tooth blade facing forward.
