I cut the motor tube with my miter saw. That new 80 tooth blade sure cuts the cardboard better. I wrapped it with masking tape to protect the outside surface, and it seemed to work. Pretty smooth cut.
Try flipping the blade backwards.
Seriously.
It is how I cut many light gauge materials including siding and soffitt.
Cuts it cleaner than even a fine tooth blade facing forward.

I've never heard of that one before. I'll have to try it next time.

Third time's the charm! I finally had a good flight with the Ion Disruptor at the SARG launch last Saturday. The motor was a 29mm H220 Blue Thunder reload. Man, that thing rocketed off the pad! (Pardon the pun!) You can read about it and see videos and photos in my launch report.
