The evil drag race seed has just been planted.
It will be interesting to see how it grows.
Shale fracking from the surface down, no fault lines under that field that I know of.

I talked with Tim at ThunderStruck and he said Midwest Power 10 is scheduled for the weekend AFTER Halloween. Since Halloween in on a Wednesday, both the weekend before and after were considered. Scheduling on the later weekend gives more time to clear the crops so the fields can be used for what they really were intended for.

Actual Launch Dates are: November 2nd thru 4th

I will change my vacation accordingly.

Anyone else up for a GIZ-MAX drag race? I think about 20 of the K2045s going off would be interesting. Mac and a Mile is always a good plan.

I think this is the best place for this question.

I would like to get my Level 2 certification at MWP-10. Will there be L2 (NAR) tests offered there?

I bet if we tried hard enough, we could fit Manny in the "XL". "Wild Child" goes for a Wild Ride!

I predict a CTI 98-4G load for the drag race; Skid, White, or White Thunder is the question....

You know Eric, maybe we could have done that in my earlier days of rocketry, there just isn't enough room for that kind of payload.....now, if there were just some small, young kid on this forum willing to get into a rocket, then you might be talking.....

I almost forgot to say, this is actually the rocket I also plan on using for L3 at AIRfest.

Well this is kinda silly. Team1 now has their launch scheduled for the same weekend. 11/2-4.

I got an email from Tim a few weeks ago stating that MWP for 2012 is the weekend after Halloween. That would be 11/2 - 11/4.

The next question is: when does registration begin?

I'm a L2 NAR and Tripoli. Bring your paperwork, fly it successfully and I'll sign it. I know there is a test in there somewhere that I'll have to administer and grade. I'll have to research that. I'll be there all three days. Red Merc Mountaineer. PM me and we can figure it all out. Or e mail......

Edit: Looks like there has to be 2 of us to certify you. I think there will be some WOOSH guys there to help. They might have the test too.
